History
Oasis is a relatively new church which came into the internationally recognised Elim Pentecostal Movement 1997.

The church has been led by Jeff and Susan Evans since 1998. We are presently hiring the Ynyswen Welfare Hall for Sunday meetings but we are looking to purchase our own premises in the near future.

Members of Oasis Church
Jesus Christ has brought the Father close to men and women (" He who has seen me has seen the Father" John 14:9).

Our purpose as a local church is to bring Him a little closer. If you are a resident of the Rhondda Valley South Wales Uk, there is a place for you at Oasis Church. You may be someone who used to go to church or someone who has never been - either way you are invited to search and find God with us.

Worship Group
We meet at 6:00pm on Sundays, this is always followed with refreshments.

Why make Jesus your priority?

Because Jesus made us his top priority – he gave his life for us. And in exchange for our commitment to him, he gives us everything that really matters.
We can’t sit on the fence. Jesus himself says in the Bible that he will spit ‘lukewarm’ or half-hearted followers out of his mouth! (Revelation 3:15-16). Not much room for complacency for any of us there.

How to become a Christian?

Following Jesus will change your life for ever, but the actual steps you take to begin are as easy as ABC. If you would like to know Jesus for yourself, be certain that your sins are forgiven and that one day you will go to heaven, follow these three easy steps, talking to God in your own words…

Admit that you have done wrong
The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Roms 3:23).

Believe that Jesus died so that you can be forgiven, and ask God to forgive you
“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16); “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9).

Commit yourself to living God’s way from now on
Jesus said, “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

Following Jesus is not always an easy road, but it’s the best decision you will ever make! For help to live your new life, speak to one of the leaders of your local Elim church – or to a Christian who you know.

If you are just interested in finding out more about Christianity, then why not visit us at the Ynyswen Welfare Hall or check out the website.
